If the insured dies in Spain, post-mortem expenses and the cost of a coffin required for transport or repatriation of the insured from the place of death in Spain to the international airport nearest to the place of burial in their country of citizenship or, where applicable, in their country of origin.
We also cover costs incurred in transferring the deceased from the international airport in the country of destination to the place of burial, including all the procedures required for this purpose.

Relatives of the insured who has died in Spain (spouse, first-degree ascendant or descendant, brother or sister, in that order) may designate a person who will be given a return ticket (economy class by air or first class by train) from their country of origin to Spain, or vice versa, to accompany the mortal remains from the place where the death occurred to the place of burial in the country of origin.
