The following are considered potentially dangerous dogs, matching the breeds designated as such under both national regulations and those set out by individual autonomous communities through their respective regional laws and decrees:
American Staffordshire Terrier, Boxer, Pit Bull Terrier, Bullmastiff, Dobermann, Dogo Argentino, Dogue de Bordeaux, Tibetan Mastiff, Fila Brasileiro, Neapolitan Mastiff, Perro de Presa Canario, Perro de Presa Mallorquín, Rottweiler, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Tosa Inu, Akita Inu or crossbreeds thereof.
Furthermore, even if they do not belong to one of the breeds listed above, dogs that exhibit a markedly aggressive temperament or that have been involved in attacks on people or other animals may be considered potentially dangerous.
