Born in Barcelona in 1999, she is one of the world’s leading para-swimmers. Over all this time, she has shown that with hard work and a determination to excel, anything is possible.
By the age of just 22, she already had to her name four medals at the Paralympic Games, 12 at World Championships and 20 at European Championships.
Núria was born with a disability in her leg which meant it had to be amputated. It was after this that she took up para-swimming.
Her career took off at a Spanish Championship where she won four medals when she was only 11 years old.  A year later, in 2011, she joined the AXA Paralympic Swimming Prospects Team, a springboard which helped her take her career to the next level, and since 2019 she has been a brand ambassador.
