Global Road Safety Initiatives

The Global Road Safety Initiatives (GRSI) is one of world's largest joint commitments of private sector resources directed at improving road safety in low- and medium-income countries.

It was first established in 2004 by a group of leading global companies and has since developed a number of outstanding road safety projects in Brazil, China, Southeast Asia, and Africa.

In 2014, AXA became a member of the GRSI, reinforcing its commitment to road safety and its pledge to support governments in reducing road traffic deaths and injuries.

AXA makes its best practices available worldwide and bases its strategy on four main pillars: education and awareness-raising, institutional relations, corporate responsibility, and support for research and study.
