Fixed Machinery Insurance

We insure static machinery which is fixed to a workbench or foundation, including both machine tools and also production, auxiliary and service equipment

ASK FOR INFORMATION
  • Inexpertness, negligence and malicious actions of the insured’s staff or third parties
  • Short circuits, electric arcs, power surges, lightning strikes and other similar incidents
  • Design, calculation or assembly errors; defects in casting, materials, construction, workmanship, etc.
  • Excessive or insufficient pressure; lack of water in boilers and other steam-generating appliances
  • Centrifugal force, although only damage caused by breakage within the machine itself
  • Falling, blows, collision as well as obstruction and ingress of foreign bodies
  • Lubrication defects, loosening of parts, abnormal stresses and self-heating
  • Failure of control devices
  • Any other accidental, sudden and unforeseen cause not listed as an excluded risk in the policy
